Say what you will about Mark Twain, he knew his frogs. He also made a fair point when he claimed eating a live frog every morning would seriously help you improve your outlook. Or that’s the attitude founders of Eat the Frog Fitness are banking on at their innovated fitness model.

According to Bryan clay, co-founder and Olympic medalist, “Your ‘frog’ is your biggest, hardest task of the day. I think of it as the one immediate task that could have the greatest positive impact on your life and for many people, that’s fitness.”

And Eat the Frog Fitness wants to help you with that task. The company is opening two new San Diego brick-and-mortars, following a Scripps Poway Pkwy location. We don’t have the exact addresses yet, but one is slated to open in Liberty Station.

If you haven’t made it out to the Scripps spot, here’s what you need to know.

Eat the Frog Fitness starts you off with a ETF Fit Test. This is meant to help locate the areas of fitness you might need a little extra help with. From there, the fitness center offers live and virtual 24 hour access. The fitness center even provides you with a personalized workout plan that consists of a mix of cardio, strength, and agility sessions.

That doesn’t sound so bad, even to me. Although I’m not sold on this live frog thing. But I’ll take a couple of frog legs sautéed in butter and garlic any day.
