Pole 2 Plate, while perhaps a self-explanatory concept, remains mildly mysterious. According to the company’s social media, it will open as a fish market on Boston Ave, however we were unable to reach owner Brady Ruysschaert for details at the time of publication.

The fish market recently submitted a food permit application for 2649 Boston Ave in San Diego, and re the brief words on the company’s password protected website, is “about to launch like a Bluefin on a Halco Popper!”

Pole to Plate is coming soon to San Diego’s Barrio Logan, and will take up shop only a few store fronts down from Barrio Food Hub, which means you can shop for dinner after enjoying lunch from one of the food hub’s many ghost kitchens. Sounds like the perfect Saturday if you ask me.
