Family entertainment experts Round 1 Bowling & Amusement are planning their next location in Escondido. The business is looking toward aggressive expansion across the US, projecting to add 10-15 locations annually. Round 1 Bowling will be joining Westfield North County Mall next.
Originating in Japan, the company has been in operation since 1980 and opened their first US location in Southern California in 2010. Round 1 has since expanded to over 50 entertainment centers in the US. The nearest location to San Diego is currently in Temecula.
Known as a multi-entertainment facility, Round 1 amusement centers feature bowling, interactive arcade games from the latest manufacturers in Japan, Kids Zone play areas, karaoke, and billiards. Their food offerings include pizza, wings, and most locations serve beer on-site.
