Unexpectedly, to its regulars, the recent health inspection conducted on May 2, 2025, resulted in the closure of the coffee shop. The decision was made when the San Francisco Department of Public Health found multiple violations during the inspection, and the permit was suspended until a follow-up inspection was conducted.
Inspection Findings
During the inspection conducted by the San Francisco Department of Public Health, rodent droppings were found in several areas around the establishment. The areas noted were the food prep table, behind the refrigeration unit, under the cash register, on the floor, and top of the under-the-counter beverage refrigeration unit.
The inspectors also found openings in the main entrance, which could be cited as the reason for the pest infestation. An order to correct the same, along with properly dealing with the rodent, has been included in the report.
