Mili is a new wine bar coming to the SoMa district this year. This week the business applied for its beer and wine license to operate at 110 Folsom St. The concept is brought to us by Shubhra Sarkar, who hopes to debut Mili by Labor Day weekend

Mili is inspired by wines from all over the globe. “We aim to have wines for the discerning palate, as well as people new to it. We have been wine collectors and connoisseurs for many years, plus we love to travel and have been to 50 countries. We wanted to bring these passions together with Mili,” Sarkar tells What Now San Francisco.

Though it is their first endeavor into the hospitality business, their obvious excitement is surely enough to give Mili the spark that will make it stand out in SoMa. In addition to their wine list, Mili will have small plates and desserts to perfectly complement any pour.

The 1,250 square-foot space that they are moving into is “cozy,” big enough to accommodate 20 guests inside and 30 guests on the outdoor patio. Over the coming months, the space will be transformed into a globetrotting wine lover’s paradise. Stay tuned.
