According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new Peruvian eatery plans to make its debut in San Francisco.
Coming to 2859 Mission Street, Roosters Peruvian Rotisserie will land near establishments such as La Taqueria, Reem’s California Mission, and Rosamunde Sausage Grill.
Behind the concept is Franz Dennis Aragon of Mona’s Burgers and Shakes — an eatery with outposts in Walnut Creek and Concord known for working with local farms and “sourcing grass-fed beef from small family ranches across California,” according to its website.
“Our menu is extensive, we offer many meat substitution options for our burgers,” as well as “fries, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, old-fashioned milkshakes… 23 different kinds of bottled and drafted beers, and 13 different kinds of wine,” the introduction continues.
While the menu for Roosters hasn’t been announced yet, based on the name, it’s safe to assume that rotisserie chicken will be served — as well as beer and wine, per the filing.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
