Amami Bistro Is Opening an Outpost in Fremont

The Bay Area sushi chain opened its first restaurant in 2012 and presently has locations in San Francisco, South San Francisco, and San Bruno.

According to a recent beer and wine license application, a new Amami Sushi outpost is coming to 46228 Warm Springs Boulevard in Fremont. The space was previously home to Yang Dumpling, and neighboring establishments include Tea Island, Julie’s Noodle Sichuan restaurant, and BBQ Factory.

The Bay Area sushi chain opened its first restaurant in 2012 and presently has locations in San Francisco, South San Francisco, and San Bruno. The menu includes appetizers, soup and salad, sashimi, nigiri, makimono, specialty rolls, udon, ramen, and dinner entrees like chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and tonkatsu. 

What Now San Francisco spoke to owner Dahua Lin, who confirmed the name and address, but was unable to share additional information before the time of publication. An opening date has not yet been announced.
