Bay Area restaurant chain Ambrosia Indian Bistro plans to open a new location, this time in Los Gatos.

According to a recently submitted permit application, the eatery is coming to 133 N Santa Cruz Avenue — an address currently home to North | Seasonal Vietnamese Cuisine & Bar — where it will land near Coup de Thai, Loma Brewing Company, and Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Spot.

What Now San Francisco contacted the concept’s owners, Kapil Dhakal and Shyam Khanal, to inquire about the expansion, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, if the menu remains consistent with existing Ambrosia outposts, locals can expect offerings to include starters such as momos and samosas, soup, salad, tandoori plates, curries, and biryanis.

For readers unfamiliar with Ambrosia Indian Bistro, the restaurant chain was founded in 2007 and presently boasts four locations across Monterey Downtown, Monterey Cannery Row, Aptos, and Scotts Valley.

An opening date for the Santa Cruz Avenue spot has not been announced yet, so follow the eatery on Facebook for updates.
