According to a recently submitted permit application, Miller’s Cafe — a concept located in Antioch known for its traditional American breakfast plates — plans to debut a second location, this time in Brentwood.
Coming to 2013 Elkins Way, A1, the eatery will soon be neighbor to establishments such as the gas station ARCO, the print shop BR Graphics Print Center, and El Camino Restaurant.
The concept’s owner, Adel Mohamed Saleh, tells What Now San Francisco, “We’re just looking to expand. It’s about 15 minutes away, it’s in the area, and we won’t have to travel.”
On the menu, Brentwood locals can expect to find traditional American breakfast and lunch offerings — think pork chops and eggs with a side of hashbrowns, corned beef hash with country-style potatoes, and biscuits and gravy served with a couple links of sausage.
Saleh shares that he’s also considering expanding the hours at the Brentwood location and opening up for dinner, but is still working through the logistics.
To give Brentwood locals an introduction to the concept, Miller’s Cafe was founded by Thelma and Arvada Miller in 1993 and changed hands in 1998. After undergoing a fire and various relocations, the restaurant found its spot at 2733 Hillcrest Avenue, near Antioch Taphouse & Restaurant, the bubble tea shop TEAZENTEA, and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. Saleh shares that he purchased the business three years ago, and has been leading it toward success ever since.
Miller’s Cafe on Elkins Way is slated to open by the end of the year. Follow What Now San Antonio on Facebook for updates.
