Tony’s Pizza Napoletana opens at SFO Terminal 1
Tony’s Pizza Napoletana launched its latest store at SFO Terminal 1’s SF Eats Food Hall. The food hall welcomed several other local establishments alongside Tony’s Pizza Napoletana. Chef Tony Gemignani spoke to guests during the opening week celebration.
The restaurant’s Facebook page posted special moments from the opening weekend for its followers. “The official grand opening ribbon cutting of Tony’s Pizza Napoletana by the Slice at SFO today, along with the other restaurants, including Perry’s,” the Facebook post read.
Gemignani reflected on his three-decade journey in pizza-making and shared stories from his career. Chef Tony expressed appreciation for other establishments that opened their stores at SF Eats Food Hall.
He thanked organizers for equipping the space with the tools needed to craft what he calls some of the best pizza in the country. He added that the goal at SFO is to deliver the same quality and consistency the brand is known for.
