According to SFist, Che Fico is debuting a new restaurant concept at the base of Visa’s global and North American headquarters building.

Located at 300 Toni Stone Xing, the eatery will land near establishments such as ATWater Tavern, Café Réveille, and LUMA Hotel.

“It’s called Via Aurelia, and it’s going to focus on Tuscan food — think Florentine-style steaks, game birds, seafood, and rich pasta dishes. Chef David Nayfeld says the restaurant will be the most ‘dressed up’ of any that the group has opened so far, with flourishes of old-school fine dining like tableside preparations,” the Journal reports.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Matt Brewer of Back Home Hospitality to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Che Fico, the restaurant offers a brief introduction on its website: “Che Fico is an Italian Taverna in San Francisco’s Nopa neighborhood. It’s a place to gather with friends and enjoy warm hospitality, food, and drink, through an approachable menu and convivial ambiance.”

Via Aurelia is slated to open in late summer. Stay tuned for updates.
