Gemini Bottle Co. owner Dominique Henderson and Alexander Pomerantz, co-founder of Subject to Change Wine Co., are jointly opening a restaurant. According to a pending liquor license application and recent reporting by SF Eater, their eatery, Bar Gemini, will make its debut at 2845 18th Street.

The 18th Street spot is on the ground floor of The Madelon, a new apartment community. Some notable establishments in the vicinity include the Californian restaurant Osito, Bobo’s Bistro, and Tartine Manufactury.

Pertinent details such as menu options and the predicted opening date have not yet been announced but, based on the name and the co-owners, it’s likely that the restaurant will offer an impressive beverage menu.

For readers who are unfamiliar, Gemini Bottle Co. is a shop in San Francisco known for its selection of wine, beer, cider, and spirits, as well as specialty pantry items. Subject to Change Wine Co., on the other hand, is a winery in Sonoma that “sources its fruit from organic and biodynamic Mendocino vineyards” and offers tastings and tours by appointment.

What Now San Francisco was unable to contact a company representative by the time of publication.
