According to a recently submitted permit application, Bay Area burger business Jersey Joe’s — a “convivial, East Coast-inspired hangout for cheesesteaks & other hearty sandwiches” — plans to debut a new outpost in San Jose.

Coming to 2200 Eastridge Loop, the eatery will land at the Eastridge Center Shopping Mall near establishments such as AMC Theater, Round1 Bowling & Arcade, and Villa Italian Kitchen.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the business to inquire about the expansion, but representatives could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Jersey Joe’s, the eatery currently has one location at 21 El Camino Real in San Carlos and, in addition to cheesesteaks, offers burgers, fried fish, fried chicken tenders, and sides including fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates
