According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new eatery listed as Brown Sugar Factory is planning to open in San Francisco’s Mission District.

Coming to 530 Valencia Street, the restaurant will land near establishments such as the Chinese restaurant Bao, Mexican food destination Puerto Alegre, and the cafe Stonemill Matcha.

What Now San Francisco contacted the concept’s owner, Hoa Nguyen, to inquire about her plans for Brown Sugar Factory, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Nguyen is also the owner of Krua Thai Kitchen, also known as RAW Sugar Factory, a breakfast and brunch Thai concept that offers menu items such as a selection of egg scrambles and omelets, chicken and waffles, and French toast, to name just a few.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
