If you’re looking for Burmese food in San Jose, consider giving Burma Choice a visit. The new restaurant recently applied for its beer and wine license at 864 Blossom Hill Road in the Santa Teresa Main Street Shopping Center. It will take over the former Masa Noodle Bar space next to Pizza My Heart.

Burma Choice owner Win Min Thant tells What Now San Francisco this week that the new restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-May. Thant maintains partnership with the owners of Burma Taste in Sunnyvale, which is likely the blueprint for Burma Choice’s operations.

The menu at Burma Choice will be similar to that of Burma Taste, with various Burmese dishes made fresh and served in a warm, welcoming environment. Hopefully, we can look forward to Nan Gyi Thoke and Garlic Noodles, though we’ll just have to wait until Burma Choice is open to see what’s in store. Stay tuned.
