Burma Love could possibly be opening a fourth location in San Francisco. An ABC license indicates that the restaurant seeks to move into 399 Grove St. in Hayes Valley. This would be the third Burma Love in San Francisco, where there are outposts in the Mission and Union Square.

An additional Burma Love restaurant is coming soon to Menlo Park’s new Springline development. What Now San Francisco has reached out to representatives for Burma Love for comment on Hayes Valley. We will update if we hear back with more information.

Burma Love started out as the “contemporary younger sister” to Burma Superstar, from whom its menu features customer favorites such as Tea Leaf Salad, Samusa Soup and Classic Mohinga, mixed with new seafood-centric dishes. A Bay Area institution with locations in Oakland and Alameda, Burma Superstar is known for spotlighting Burmese cuisine at its finest.

Burma Love restaurants separate their semi-private bar area and the main dining room, so that they can suit any occasion that you’re celebrating. Their bar menu includes their house Burma Ale and specialty cocktails that use Burmese and Southeast Asian-inspired flavors.
