Charming Fig is opening its first brick-and-mortar location at 1236 Concannon Boulevard in The Well at Sunset Plaza. The storefront is currently under construction in preparation for a Spring 2022 opening.

“We’re excited to showcase what Livermore has to offer,” Charming Fig tells What Now San Francisco. For the past 11 years, the boutique catering business has been dazzling parties and events with locally-sourced grazing tables, cheese boards, and Mini Cheeseboxes sold at many wineries throughout Livermore.

Naturally, Charming Fig’s next chapter involves a restaurant, which will be “a bit of everything,” including a breakfast and lunch menu, as well as a deli case stocked with healthy salads and sandwiches. The restaurant will also feature a cheese counter where customers can experience new flavors, create their own cheeseboards, or build their own picnic boxes on the way into Livermore Valley wine country.

The 2,575 square-foot space is being styled as a “California modern” farmhouse, featuring a barn door that leads to an event room which will serve as overflow seating space, but can be used for private events, classes, and live music. Charming Fig looks forward to hosting a variety of events, from wine and paint nights to cooking classes.

When customers aren’t there for a succulent workshop or a cheeseboard class, they’ll probably be dropping in every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for “Grazing Hour,” which will feature local wines, beers, and of course, charcuterie snacks. It won’t be long before Livermore’s new mantra is “Sip. Graze. Repeat.” Charming Fig will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
