Chef Dino Moniodis of Dino’s Greek Food Truck and the Three Disciples Brewing team are joining forces to debut a gastropub at 1018 Santa Rosa Plaza. Locals may recognize the spot as the former home of 2 Tread Brewing Company, which closed down back in 2019.

“It will be more refined than a typical gastropub, with a lot of different kinds of food,” Moniodis tells Sonoma Magazine.

The eatery will be called Kracken Kitchen and feature an “international small-plates menu.” According to Sonoma Magazine, options will include a lamb & mushroom sandwich, chanterelle & Dungeness crab flatbread, shrimp saganaki, pot stickers, pork larb spring rolls, and chicken tikka tacos.

This will be a new culinary direction for Moniodis — his food truck business is known for its modern take on Greek street food, and his previous restaurant, Zimi on Mission, was a pizza shop.

What Now San Francisco was unable to reach a restaurant representative before the time of publication, but readers can receive additional updates by following Three Disciples Brewing on Facebook and Instagram.

Kracken Kitchen is slated to open sometime this summer.
