The Yellow Chilli by chef Sanjeev Kapoor is coming very soon to Danville. The Indian restaurant is set to make its debut at 710 Camino Ramon in the Rose Garden Shopping Center this Friday, April 29, according to Google.

Since late last year, tenant improvements have been underway on the 5,311 square-foot space at the intersection of Camino Ramon and Sycamore Valley Road off the northbound I-680. The restaurant aims to offer fine dining Indian cuisine in a family-friendly setting.

Classic Indian recipes are executed with a contemporary twist. Expect dishes like Shaam Savera (signature style spinach koftas filled with creamed cottage cheese and served floating on a velvety tomato butter gravy) and Puran Singh da Tariwala Murgh (chicken gravy – from a dhaba on the famous Delhi-Ambala Road), according to their website.

Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is a celebrity chef known in Asia for his cooking show “Khana Khazana.” Under his SK Restaurants umbrella, The Yellow Chilli is the most popular brand that boasts locations throughout the globe. The menu is inspired by Kapoor’s travels around India, showcasing the best regional dishes from the Punjab and the Mughal Era.
