The chicken sandwich chain Chick-fil-A is opening a new outpost in Emeryville at 1525 40th Street, near eateries such as Ariana Hot Dog, Rudy’s Can’t Fail Cafe, and Starbucks. The address was previously home to Panera Bread, which closed down suddenly last April.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the West Region Director of Development, Carlos Arias, but he was not immediately available for comment.

Regardless, it can be reasonably assumed that patrons will find fried chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, and wraps on the menu — as well as breakfast items, salads, and milkshakes.

The outpost is scheduled to open on March 30th, joining over 20 existing outposts in the Bay Area.
