Latin comfort food concept Cholita Linda — a Bay Area-based business currently slinging baja fish tacos in Alameda, Oakland, at San Francisco’s Ferry Building, and in Walnut Creek — is planning to open a new outpost in Mill Valley.

Taking over Suite 801 at 800 Redwood Highway Frontage Road, it will land near establishments such as the Chinese eatery Harmony Restaurant, High Tech Burrito, and the Thai concept Thep Lela Thai.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the eatery, Cholita Linda was founded in 2008 and began by selling at East Bay farmers’ markets before launching its brick-and-mortar restaurants.

In addition to fresh tacos, patrons can expect to find sandwiches and salads on the menu, as well as plates such as the Picadillo, Chicharron de Pollo, and Pollo Cholita.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Cholita Linda’s owner, Murat Sozeri, but she was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for additional updates.
