The Financial District’s City View Restaurant is moving from its current location at 662 Commercial Street just up the block to 33 Walter U. Lum Place. Discovered via a post on Instagram from @sfchinatown.today, a sign on their window reads “aiming to open our new location later in 2022 and will be posting updates on our social media and website.”

According to Tablehopper, “it will be on the ground floor of the same building that Empress by Boon is in, but will use the Walter U. Lum entrance (instead of Grant).”

City View’s menu features “numerous variations of bite-size dim sum” that are steamed, baked, or deep fried that patrons are able to see and choose from a cart. There are also “a small variety” of rice plates or noodle dishes to choose from.

City View’s current hours are from 11 am to 2 pm and 5 pm to 7:30 pm from Wednesday to Sunday.

What Now San Francisco was unable to contact a company representative by the time of publication.
