San Francisco-based coffee label Coffee Bodega is opening its second shop in the city. Coming to the Salesforce West building at 50 Fremont Street, the cafe will soon neighbor Financial District restaurants such as Barcha, Pokeworks, and Tender Greens.

Owner Carlos Hernandez Isava tells What Now San Francisco that in addition to specialty coffees such as cold brew, cortados, and flat whites, Coffee Bodega will serve empanadas and medialunas — a type of Argentinian pastry that’s similar to a croissant.

Ambiance-wise, patrons can expect the new outpost to embrace the same “Latin-American style” of decor as the original. Previously occupied by another coffee shop, Isava shares that, luckily, the space requires no major renovations.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, the business provides an introduction on its website: “Coffee Bodega offers farm-to-table specialty coffees. Our coffees are grown, roasted, and packed by small farmer cooperatives in their natural environment; a socially responsible approach that yields exceptional coffees that are produced in a sustainable way.”

Coffee Bodega on Fremont Street is slated to open before August 2023. In the meantime, San Francisco residents can visit Coffee Bodega at 1 California Street, and follow the business on Facebook and Instagram for additional updates.
