Dish N Dash—the fast-casual sibling of San Francisco’s Dishdash—will move from 181 Ranch Dr. to 260 Ranch Dr. in Milpitas, according to a recent alcohol and beverage license filed with the State of California.

Dishdash’s Health And Safety Consultant, Nadiah Mshasha, tells What Now San Francisco that they are early in the permitting process for the new location and hoping to open in 2023. The building is sized at 8,285 square feet and was previously home to On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina.

On the Dishdash website, Owner Emad Ibrahim explains that Dish N Dash restaurants offer a simplified version of the Dishdash menu. The selection includes traditional main dishes and customers can create their own plates. Side options include pita, salad, freekeh, and hummus, with beverage options like fresh squeezed juice and smoothies, in addition to wine and beer options.

Dishdash Restaurant Group has seven locations in the Bay Area, serving Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Milpitas, Fremont and San Jose, ranging from fine-dining to quick-serve.

To this day, Dishdash Restaurant Group remains a family-owned business.
