According to a permit application recently submitted to the City of Berkeley, Dog Haus in Berkeley — located at 1407 San Pablo Avenue, near establishments such as Precision People’s Car Repair, Sultana Book Store & More, and Super Super Pho — is now operating under new ownership.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the location’s new franchisee, Wesley Olson, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing was submitted to “resume operations for [an] existing restaurant business, selling hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and wings.”

“It is a continuation of that same business under new ownership,” the statement continues.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, “Dog Haus has garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef Haus Dogs and handcrafted proprietary Haus Sausages, as well as its 100% genetically tested, humanely raised, hormone- and antibiotic-free Black Angus beef from Creekstone Farms,” according to the concept’s website.

Founded in Pasadena in 2010, Dog Haus currently operates over 50 locations nationwide.
