Those who frequent Dogpatch are probably very familiar with the Yellow Building and the restaurant Piccino that calls it home. Now, the Italian-inspired California cafe is working on an expansion called Bar Piccino. Located at 1003 Minnesota St., Bar Piccino is scheduled to open before summer according to Tablehopper.

The new addition will offer a wide range of delicious cocktails. The space will also have its own dedicated pizza oven to serve up late night bites and other bar eats that will complement the drink list.

There will be a marble-topped bar with 12 seats and a long standing bar that can fit around 18 guests. The space as a whole is around 2,000 square-feet with 15-foot ceilings, so it’s big enough to host private events as well.

The Piccino team is currently working out its craft cocktail list, playing around with seasonal ingredients and agave spirits. According to Tablehopper, bar manager Andi Miller is excited to work with Piccino on this new project, which will also serve other drinks such as whiskies, plus low-ABV and no-ABV options.
