According to a recent press release, Omakase Restaurant Group’s Dumpling Time is expanding in the Bay Area, planning to open a new outpost at Palo Alto’s Stanford Shopping Center.

For readers unfamiliar with the chain, Dumpling Time operates five locations across the Bay Area and “presents Asian dishes reimagined with local, California ingredients.”

On the menu, patrons can expect to find “mouth-watering” Xi’an boiled dumplings and xiao long bao soup dumplings — “designed to be filling-forward and handmade with an emphasis on flavor, high-quality ingredients, and freshness” — as well as gyozas, pan-seared bao, and veggie plates.

Known for its “playful, fine-casual atmosphere,” the upcoming space will be decorated with “pops of neon, leafy plants, and street art-inspired murals” — giving a “vibrant, urban feel that pays homage to Asia’s night markets and street vendor culture.”

Dumpling Time is slated to open in late 2024. In the meantime, follow Dumpling Time on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
