Elaine Wines will begin offering tastings at Inspirations Vineyard and Winery — a wine-making facility and tasting room in Santa Rosa — sometime before this fall. At 3360 Coffey Lane, the establishment neighbors Donelan Family Wines and Moonlight Brewing Company.

Known for its hand-crafted single-vineyard pinot noir and chardonnay, Elaine Wines is a 3-acre micro-winery “in the Heart of the Russian River Valley.” While Owner Elaine Sale purchased the winery in 2013, it has been around since 1988.

Sale — who is also a patent attorney and the winemaker — tells What Now San Francisco that she established Elaine Wines in 2017 and that she vinifies the grapes herself, while also selling to other wineries — however, she hopes to be able to vinify and bottle all of the grapes under her label soon.

As far as ambiance is concerned, Sale describes the Inspirations Vieyward and Winery tasting room as a “bare-bones industrial space” with a stand-alone bar, where all of the winery equipment and some barrels are in sight.

Elaine Wines is slated to begin pouring at Inspiration Vineyard and Winery before the fall of this year. In the meantime, follow the winery on Facebook for additional updates.
