Bay Area farmers’ market staple Nina’s Cafe is planning to open its first brick-and-mortar location, according to a recent beer and wine license application.
Coming to Foster City at 969 Edgewater Boulevard J, the restaurant will soon land amongst eateries such as Quickly and Ritha Indian Restaurant.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Owner Diana Abad, but she was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication.
Nevertheless, the business’s existing model may provide insight into what the city’s residents can look forward to.
A regular at Foster City Farmers’ Market on Saturdays and Burlingame Farmers’ Market on Sundays, Nina’s Cafe has become known for its selection of empanadas — including savory options such as spicy chicken and ham & cheese, as well as sweet picks like guava & cheese and Nutella.
An opening date has not yet been announced, so, for additional updates, follow Nina’s Cafe on Instagram.
