According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a new Forge Pizza outpost is coming to Oakland.

Coming to 5900 College Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Ramen Shop, Yimm Oakland, and Zachary’s Chicago Pizza.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Forge Pizza, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Since 2013, when our original pizza place in Oakland launched, we’ve been excited to be an integral part of the Bay Area food scene.”

“At The Forge, we know it takes genuine dedication, mouth-watering fresh food, high-quality ingredients, and a unique, inviting atmosphere that no other Oakland eateries or Napa restaurants can match. The Forge offers the best relaxed, casual dining experience around—as is evidenced by our dog-friendly patios at both of our locations,” the statement continues.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Michael Karp, to inquire about the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
