According to a recently submitted permit application, Fremont-based restaurant Ping’s Bistro is planning to debut a new outpost in Cupertino.

Coming to 10700 S De Anza Boulevard — an address formerly home to Taiwanese Bistro — the restaurant will land near establishments such as Aqui Cupertino, Ox 9 Lanzhou Handpulled Noodle, and Trader Joe’s.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Yi Qian — who also operates Shang Cafe in San Jose — to inquire about the expansion, but she could not provide additional information before time of publication.

Nevertheless, should the concept remain consistent, Ping’s Bistro in Cupertino will offer traditional Chinese dishes such as Hunan-style sautéed beef, Chongqing-style spicy chicken, and spicy grilled fish.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Ping’s Bistro on Facebook for updates.
