Golfery of Marin, an indoor golf simulator lounge and co-working concept with on-site food and beverage options, is getting ready to open in San Rafael at 647 Irwin Street, Space B.
The new concept is set to open between Starbucks and Subway, according to a recent liquor license application. Co-founders Kelly Jackson and Colin Read are leading the project. They tell Whatnow San Francisco that a soft opening is targeted for the end of June and a grand opening is planned for early July. The business will introduce a five-bay indoor golf lounge paired with a co-working space.
The facility will feature five simulator bays using Foresight equipment. One of the bays will include a PuttView laser putting system, allowing users to practice putting with simulated breaks from distances of 25 feet or less. This type of system is not widely available on the West Coast. The setup is designed to support both casual play and skill development.
In addition to the simulator bays, Golfery of Marin will include co-working and lounge areas. Plans call for bookable meeting rooms, a boardroom, and phone booths. The space will also offer a mix of quiet work areas and lounge seating, along with a TV lounge. These features are intended to support both individual work and small group use.
Food and beverage options will include a snack and comfort station, along with self-pour beverages and beer taps. The offerings are designed to complement the overall experience rather than function as a full restaurant. Customers will be able to access refreshments while using the simulators or working in the space.
Golfery of Marin is described as the first simulator lounge of its kind in Marin, built for the local golf community. The concept also notes plans to work with local vendors, teaching professionals, and club fitters as part of its offering.
