Gott’s Roadside, the Bay Area institution known for its take on American roadside classics, has opened a new cookie counter inside the Ferry Building Marketplace. The new cookie counter will feature Gott’s house-made cookies—served fresh daily straight from the oven—dipped in cold flavored milks.

“We set out to create something that brings back the nostalgic joy of cookies and milk—with a Gott’s twist,” says Jennifer Rebman, Vice President of Culinary at Gott’s Roadside in a statement. “We’ve been undergoing recipe development for over a year, and we’re excited to introduce our cookie lineup to the Bay Area.”

At the heart of the menu is the chocolate chip cookie, crafted with Giusto’s premium gourmet flour and a blend of two kinds of Guittard chocolate. Baked fresh on-site daily, each cookie promises the perfect balance of crisp edges and a gooey center. While the chocolate chip cookie will take center stage, additional flavors and seasonal varieties will offer an ever-evolving lineup of sweet treats at the city’s bustling waterfront marketplace. Menu of flavors to include:

Cookies

  • Chocolate Chip: House-made with Giusto’s premium gourmet flour and two kinds of Guittard chocolate.
  • Rainbow Sprinkles: House-made with Giusto’s premium gourmet flour and rolled in rainbow sprinkles.
  • Double Chocolate Peanut Butter: House-made with Giusto’s premium gourmet flour and Guittard cocoa & bittersweet chips and Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips.
  • Ginger Snap: House-made with Giusto’s premium gourmet flour, crystallized ginger pieces, and our secret spice blend.

Dipping Milks

  • Organic Chocolate Milk: House-made with dark chocolate syrup and organic milk.
  • Organic Strawberry Milk: House-made with strawberry purée and organic milk.
  • Organic Whole Milk: Clover Sonoma® organic whole milk.

“Our vision for the cookie counter came to life from a conversation with the Ferry Building Management team,” said Clay Walker, President of Gott’s Roadside. “They were looking for a partner to help activate the north corridor, and we had long envisioned transforming the space into a vibrant sweet treat destination that brings the spirit of Gott’s to life in a bold new way. The Ferry Building was the obvious choice for this launch, as an iconic culinary destination for food lovers, we couldn’t imagine a better spot to introduce our cookies to the community.”

True to Gott’s design aesthetic, the new counter and seating area feature red paneling, white subway tiles, and stainless-steel countertops

The Ferry Building has long been a hub for food lovers, home to some of the Bay Area’s most celebrated culinary destinations.
