According to the San Francisco Business Times, Haraz Coffee — a coffee house chain “on a mission to share the rich heritage of Yemeni coffee with the world,” per its website — plans to open its second outpost in San Francisco this summer.
Coming to 264 Kearny Street, the cafe will land near establishments such as the cocktail bar Pagan Idol, the pub The Irish Bank, and Sam’s Grill & Seafood Restaurant.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the chain, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “In 2021, Hamzah Nasser set out on a mission to bring a unique coffee experience to life by opening the first Haraz Coffee House in Dearborn, Michigan.”
The statement continues, “Since its humble beginnings, Haraz Coffee House has grown to 20 locations across metro Detroit and other cities with 142 in the pipeline, becoming a symbol of authenticity and excellence in the coffee industry.”
What Now San Francisco reached out to Nasser to gather additional information regarding the upcoming location; however, we were unable to speak before the time of publication.
While an exact opening date has not been announced yet, according to the report, the Kearny Street cafe will adopt the same late-night hours as the Franklin Street location, planning to stay open until 11 pm.
