According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, Jacquelyn Shao, the owner of Jackie’s Supper Club — a meal delivery subscription service that caters to the Bay Area — plans to debut a new concept near Union Square.

Coming to 396 Harrison Street, Yuja will land near establishments such as the sushi restaurant Akikos, the American restaurant Prospect, and Waterbar Restaurant.

Shao tells What Now San Francisco, “The goal of Yuja is to bring people fresh, delicious, high-quality asian inspired bowls, and also create a community space in the neighborhood. The menu is inspired by some of our Jackie’s Supper Club favorite dishes.”

For reference, Jackie’s Supper Club’s weekly meals include items such as Herbed Beef Meatballs, Chicken Schnitzel, and a Teriyaki Tofu Bowl, as well as side salads and soups — meaning patrons can expect to find a health-focused selection of menu offerings.

“We can’t wait to open – we’re targeting October of this year,” Shao continues. Stay tuned for updates.
