According to a recently submitted permit application, Hot Italian will debut a new location in the Bay Area — this time in San Rafael.

Coming to 909 Lincoln Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Antiguas Cafe Restaurant, Los Moles Hecho en Casa, and Sol Food.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Hot Italian, the concept was founded by Fabrizio Cercatore, “a master pizzaiolo from the Italian Riviera but also an accomplished entrepreneur,” according to the restaurant’s website.

The statement continues, “By blending Italy’s rich traditions in art, music, and design with California’s seasonal ingredients, Fabrizio crafts dishes that inspire. His commitment to sustainability, community, and culinary excellence fosters vibrant neighborhoods and meaningful connections.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
