Illy Caffé is currently taking over an existing kiosk at Westfield San Francisco Centre, according to a building permit found in city public records. The kiosk will be located on the very first level in between the escalators next to Ajisen Ramen and Miniso.

Representatives for San Francisco Centre have confirmed that illy Caffé will be ready to serve shoppers sometime in 2022. This will technically be the brand’s fourth official location in San Francisco, following the Pier 39 outpost and the Montgomery Flagship. The illy on 90 Montgomery St. is temporarily closed.

Illy got its start in 1933 as a family business founded by Francesco Illy in Trieste, Italy. The brand is currently led by the third generation of the family and is known globally for their signature upscale espresso beverages.

The kiosk is expected to serve a variety of Italian inspired coffee drinks, and perhaps a formidable menu of sandwiches, salads, pastries and desserts similar to their existing locations. Illy Caffé North America has been contacted but has not returned requests for comment at the time of publication.
