Iron Chef Masaharu Morimot’s Momosan Santana Row Is Now Open

Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, a Japanese master chef has officially opened his ramen concept, Momosan Santana Row. Located at San Jose’s Santana Row, this casual dining experience features the Iron Chef’s signature and newly developed take on Momosan dishes, plus a diverse selection of private label beer, wine, whiskey and sake.

At Momosan Santana Row, noodles are front and center, highlighting Chef Morimoto’s varieties of Japanese-style flavor-forward ramen. The menu offers a variety of appetizers and Japanese bar snacks, as well as Momosan-style Japanese A5 dishes, all with Chef Morimoto’s signature twist. The restaurant also features Izakaya plates and savory shareable creations.

The beverage menu features a vast sake list of spirits, including Chef Morimoto’s signature Fukumitsuya sake, Grgich Hills Estate Morimoto ‘Dream’ wine, cocktails, and Chef Morimoto’s signature beers and whiskey brewed by Rogue Ales.

The 90-seat restaurant offers dining at the intimate ramen bar overlooking an open kitchen, for an up-close-and-personal culinary experience, along with individual and communal dining seating inside or outside on the patio offering views of the lively eat, work, live and play destination, Santana Row.

Momosan Santana Row is Chef Morimoto’s sixth Momosan location. His first ramen shop opened in New York City in 2016, followed by locations at Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, Seattle, Wynwood District in Miami, Florida and the most recent at Hub Hall in Boston.

Momosan Santana Row is now open daily from 5-10 p.m. The restaurant is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
