Italy-Based Pizzeria Coming to Redwood City

California-born Sarika Batra and Italian pizza maker Momo Farouq are debuting their Italy-based pizza concept in Redwood City.

According to Palo Alto Online, California-born Sarika Batra and Italian pizza maker Momo Farouq are debuting their Italy-based pizza concept in Redwood City.

Coming to 2053 Broadway, taking over a space formerly home to Rockn Wraps, Pizzeria Cardmomo will land near establishments such as Broadway Sandwich Market, MAZRA, and Vesta.

The report shares that one of the menu items will be the Morocco pizza, topped with sausage, dried plums, roasted organic almonds, and cinnamon.

On its Google Business page, the eatery writes, “Our dishes are created from scratch with our house-made ingredients and locally sourced. Our goal is to serve the best gourmet pizza in town with welcoming hospitality and world-class service.”

Pizzeria Cardmomo is slated to open this fall. Stay tuned for updates.
