Planted 13 years ago at 4220 Silverado Trail in Napa — “just south of the Stags leap AVA and east of Oak Knoll” — Kiatra Vineyards is planning to enhance its presence in the Napa wine scene.

CEO and Co-Founder Kia Behnia tells What Now San Francisco that after years of selling to top labels such as Dareusch and Shaffer, Kiatra Vineyards is launching its own brand — Neotempo Wines.

Behnia shares that he and his team have brought on “a world-class winemaker” and will prioritize “sustainability-focused packaging.” Slated to launch this fall, he will share more information over the coming months.

Additionally, according to a recently filed winegrower license application, Kiatra Vineyards is opening a new production facility at 701 Lommel Road in Calistoga — and Behnia hints that a tasting room is in the future as well.

Until more information is announced, follow the upcoming label on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
