According to the concept’s owner, Oakland-based concept Kilovolt Coffee is gearing up to debut a food truck.
“I’d like to add that we are weeks away from launching a coffee and espresso food truck. That will be very exciting, we will announce it on our Instagram account,” Ethan Ashley shares with What Now San Francisco in a recent email exchange.
This expansion will occur in tandem with the business’s relocation from 1829 Mandela Parkway to 1746 13th Street — where it’s neighbored by the grocery store Family Market, the eatery Kojokojo Fusion, and the East African restaurant Swahili Spot — as reported on by What Now San Francisco last week.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Kilovolt Coffee, the business website offers a brief introduction to the concept: “Kilovolt Coffee is founded on the principles of independence, ingenuity, community, and ecology. We are a company that strives for excellence while believing that every employee can be themselves at work.”
“We appreciate our customers for choosing an independent retailer… We believe in a brighter future for tomorrow for everyone, we will get there by improving every year,” the statement continues.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Follow Kilovolt Coffee on Instagram for updates.
