According to a report by Mission Local, the 76-year-old chef and owner, Andy Tonozuka, revealed his decision to retire. Over the years, he has served the neighborhood with his elite skills and has also operated up to five locations in his prime.
Known for delicious and filling Japanese cuisine served at a reasonable price, We Be Sushi was a beloved restaurant in the Mission District. The sushi spot was known for its intimate setting and for serving a highly personalized omakase experience.
