According to the North Bay Business Journal, Cafe Réveille, “a restaurant chain with six sites in the Bay Area, plans a seventh in San Anselmo.”
Coming to 60 Greenfield Avenue, taking over a 10,486-square-foot space, the eatery will land near establishments such as Madcap, Matteucci’s, and Taqueria Mi Familia.
“The site has been used for various restaurants, sandwich shops, and café uses,” Jackson Dobronyi, a town planner, tells the Journal — Commissioner Tim Heiman adds, “I’m very happy to see something being done with this site… I’m a little on the fence about some of the nebulous design things. … I’d like to see that nailed down a little more, frankly.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with Cafe Réveille, the eatery is open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch — with menu items ranging from breakfast sandwiches and bowls to burgers and pasta plates.
Cafe Réveille’s co-owner, Thomas Newbury, shares, “Doing something in Marin is always something we’ve wanted to do for a very, very long time.”
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
