According to a recent press release, multi-brand restaurant concept Local Kitchens is planning to open its first outpost in Burlingame.
Coming to 225 Lorton Avenue, #3, the eatery will land near Coconut Bay Thai Restaurant, the coffee shop Mints & Honey, and the Greek restaurant Mykonos.
A brief introduction to the concept is provided in the press release: “Local Kitchens is a culinary collective that partners with visionary chefs to craft bold, unforgettable menus you won’t find anywhere else—all available under one roof.”
The statement continues, “With story-rich dishes inspired by regional traditions and infused with modern flavors, from celebrated names like Alvin Cailan, Rick Martínez, Tuệ Nguyễn, Einat Admony, Ari Feingold, and more, Local Kitchens elevates everyday dining into an experience of discovery.”
The concept was founded in 2020 in Cupertino by Andrew Munday, Jon Goldsmith, and Jordan Bramble. It’s currently headquartered in San Francisco, and the upcoming location in Burlingame will mark the brand’s thirteenth restaurant.
At existing outposts, patrons can choose from menus from various restaurant concepts; for example, Boba Guys, Nash & Proper, Nopalito Taqueria, Proposition Chicken, Square Pie Guys, and Sushirrito.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Goldsmith to learn more about what the Local Kitchens team has planned for the upcoming Burlingame spot; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
