Mendocino Farms, a California-based sandwich-and-salad chain, is getting ready to open in Dublin at 5130 Dublin Blvd.
The company’s new location will move into the former Patxi’s Pizza space in the Persimmon Place shopping center, according to a recent liquor license application. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, customers can expect Mendocino Farms’ signature sandwiches, salads, and bowls, including the “Not So Fried” Chicken, Farm Club, and Vegan Banh Mi, as well as seasonal offerings like the Golden State Cobb and Seasonal GOAT with Pink Lady Apples.
Founded in 2005, Mendocino Farms has grown into a multi-state chain with locations across California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, and Washington. Cities with existing restaurants include Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, and Seattle. The brand is known for its fresh, made-to-order meals and inventive approach to classic sandwiches and salads.
Northern California diners are familiar with Mendocino Farms, which currently has restaurants in Berkeley, Campbell, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Redwood Shores, San Francisco, San Jose, San Mateo, San Ramon, Santa Clara, Santa Rosa, Walnut Creek, and Sacramento. The company is also expanding to Chicago, Dallas, and Austin before the end of the year.
The Dublin location marks the brand’s continued regional expansion and will offer a wide range of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-containing options. The menu focuses on fresh, high-quality ingredients, bold flavors, and seasonal creativity. Signature items highlight the brand’s commitment to both traditional and inventive recipes, with rotating specials to keep the menu dynamic.
CEO Kevin Miles and the Mendocino Farms team emphasize creating a welcoming dining environment. According to the chain’s website, the brand is about “making new culinary discoveries” and offering “a welcoming gathering place where happiness is always an order away.”
