“Mid-Market’s premier craft beer bar and bottle shop,” The Beer Hall, plans to open a new location in Union Square.

According to a recently submitted license application, the drinkery is taking over 34-38 Mason Street, near establishments such as Abe’s Pizza, Pandora Karaoke & Bar, and Little Delhi.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Co-Owner Jennifer Hall to inquire about the expansion, but she was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, if operations at The Beer Hall in Union Square resemble those at the flagship 1 Polk Street spot, locals can expect to find “a rotating menu of 20 craft beers, four wines and a cider on tap, 200+ bottles (drink here and buy to-go), a small bites menu, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, “founded in 2013 by Drew and Jen Hall, The Beer Hall’s mission is to bring people together and make them feel at home… with great beer, of course,” the business shares on its website

An opening date had not yet been announced.
