MJ Sushi is possibly opening a second location in Danville, according to a recently filed beer and wine license with the State of California. The new restaurant is taking over the former Cafe Meyers at 3468 Camino Tassajara and the timing of our source suggests that they will be ready to open in early 2022.

The owners of the pending license are attached to MJ Sushi located on Stevenson Boulevard in Fremont. It is not entirely clear if this will be a second location or a new concept — when contacted, the owners did not deny these plans but also didn’t give any further information.

Our best guess is that this will be a second location and if this is true, we can expect the same mouthwatering menu that has Fremont customers raving. MJ Sushi is known for serving fresh sashimi, plus seafood and veggie sushi rolls. For more information, visit www.mjsushi.net.
