According to a recently submitted permit application, Bay Area-based donut shop chain Mochiholic is expanding to Berkeley.

Coming to 2404 Telegraph Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Champion’s Curry, the sandwich shop Mezzo, and Sourdough and Co.

The outpost’s franchisee, Sri Devi Ravindran, tells What Now San Francisco that the space will offer grab-and-go as well as table service and seating for about 22 customers.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the dining concept, “Mochiholic was started in 2020 through a virtual kitchen concept” and “after a year of successful business… Mochiholic opened a retail location in California in 2021,” according to its website.

Its menu boasts mochi donuts, boba milk tea, matcha tea, Vietnamese coffee, and crème brûlée.

Mochiholic on Telegraph Avenue is slated to open in September.
