According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, a Japanese cuisine restaurant listed as Nagoya Sushi House is preparing to begin serving a variety of traditional Japanese dishes in San Ramon.
Coming to 2551 San Ramon Valley Boulevard, the dining concept will land near establishments such as the American restaurant Katy’s Korner, a “family-run venue with a kids’ playroom offering eggs Benedict, plus other breakfast and lunch staples,” per its Google business profile. Neighboring businesses will also include the Vietnamese spot Pho Sam and a Round Table Pizza Clubhouse outpost.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Zhijiang Li, to inquire about his plans for the upcoming eatery; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
It is unclear whether Li will be debuting a new business or expanding an existing one. A restaurant with the same name operates at 2590 South Bascom Avenue, Unit E-B, in San Jose; however, if the two restaurants are related, it is not stated.
Either way, drawing from the name of the soon-to-open restaurant, locals can expect the menu to offer a selection of sushi, including sashimi, urumaki, and nigiri, to name just a few options. Sake and Japanese beer will also be served, per the filing.
