Petit Soleil, a local cafe specializing in breakfast and lunch fare, is getting ready to move to a new location in Napa at 1000 Imola Avenue.

The cafe will take over the former Huckleberry’s Breakfast and Lunch, which is attached to the Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines, according to a recent liquor license application. This move marks a relocation from its original site at 1408 Clay Street in Napa. While an exact opening date has not been announced, owner Trena Madrigal tells What Now San Francisco that they will take full control of the new property on December 1. The team must vacate the cafe’s current location by February 2026. When Petit Soleil relocates, customers can expect the same breakfast and lunch offerings, with menu items including pancakes, omelets, benedicts, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a full coffee and espresso program.

Petit Soleil has been serving the Napa community from its original location on Clay Street, catering to both locals and visitors in the heart of the valley. The move to Imola Avenue places the cafe in a highly visible location with easy access for hotel guests and nearby residents. The relocation continues the cafe’s mission to provide quick, fresh, and approachable meals for breakfast and lunch, whether for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.

The cafe’s menu features a range of breakfast classics served all day, including bacon and eggs, scones, pancakes, and hash browns, as well as a lunch lineup of sandwiches, burgers, and fresh salads. Petit Soleil emphasizes quick service and convenience, with options available for guests on the go or through third-party delivery services.

Madrigal has deep roots in Napa, where she has lived her entire life with the goal of eventually owning her own restaurant. That dream came true in 2023 when Madrigal took over as the new owner of Petit Solei. She has focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere that combines approachable, made-to-order meals with strong local ties. The cafe’s relocation is part of an effort to better serve both the local community and the steady flow of tourists visiting the valley.

Petit Soleil currently operates from its original location on Clay Street. The Imola Avenue outpost will continue the cafe’s mission of bringing fresh, flavorful breakfast and lunch offerings to Napa, creating a space where neighbors, travelers, and food enthusiasts can gather over coffee and wholesome meals.
